Beardsley Trail
We partnered with the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation, Bureau of Land Management - Idaho, and Tread Lightly! to open the Beardsley Trail for use by vehicles over 50 inches. We had to first see what size vehicles could fit across the main bridge. We are also assisting in the Ramshorn connector in September 2025.

Beautiful views and beautiful.... llamas!?!? We aren't complaining! These amazing llamas helped us carry the tools, lunch, and water for our amazing volunteers. Thank you, Salmon Valley Stewardship, for letting us partner with you and the U.S. Forest Service - Salmon-Challis National Forest.

Beardsley Creek Trail Opening
Mountain West Recreation Alliance and Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation opened the Beardsley Creek Trail for full sized vehicles yesterday. This Trail has been a less than 50" Trail for many many years. We put new signs up along the trail and had a wonderful time exploring and learning about the history of Bayhorse. This is a pretty amazing project we were blessed to assist with. This is what we are advocating for. This is what MWRA is going to continue to do.
Kuna Butte and Initial Point Cleanup
Amazing! Around 7 tons of trash were removed from Kuna Butte and Initial Point.
